Hurricane Florence is expected to make landfall within the next 24-48 hours somewhere along the North Carolina coast. Governors in South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia have already ordered mandatory evacuations of low-lying areas. School districts, as well as, government offices are already closed. Additionally, this storm is expected to track inland and stall out, dumping huge amounts of rain over a wide area. Inland flooding is anticipated, which may impact courts well outside of the coastal region.

Expect delays for some court-related information products in these areas over the next several days as the storm passes, damage is assessed, and government offices reopen.
