Use of arrest record with no conviction NO LONGER VALID – This former restriction under the State Department of Labor Guidelines was withdrawn by the UT Labor Commission. UAC R606-2(u) was deleted in its entirety. See page 37 of the Utah State Bulletin from Oct. 15, 2011 using the “statute link” for the record entry.
Use of Social Media Password Information Effective May 14, 2014, employers may not request employees or applicants disclose user names and passwords that allow access to their personal Internet accounts. The Act is known as the Internet Employment Privacy Act (IEPA)
